FlashIntro©
Presentation:
With only one click, clients will get a quick and extremely visual introduction to the principal functionalities of the webpage of the company:
To help users to overview the page(s) as quickly, satisfying and happy as possible. Even if everything is made up for a visual, logically, set up web page, the impression of overview could be improved by the use of FlashIntro©;.
How to get it working?
- the server side hosts five files in three folders (2 x .js – the logic, 2 x css – the style, 1 x xlm – the data).
- each homepage must have two lines added: one line to link to js-file, in the head-section. The other one is called in the last part of the body-section, script-section, when the document has arrived to its completed ready-state.
There are two “utility” states (it starts in the first state):
- “User state”: to prehent how an user lambda will expeience the web-page(s). The functionality is activated when hoovering over the little element – almost invisible: “intro”, in upper, left corner of the page.
When clicked upon, the animation starts, explaining the functionalities of the webpage.
However, when holding the [CTRL] button down, while clicking it, the web-page goes into its second :
- Configuration state. Here are all the definitions done, to get the animation to work: start and end points, durations, texts, event activations, effects etc. etc.
All work is done by help from the blue interface window. The steps can change the priority, be added, removed and saved. As well as all other configurations. In the most user friendly way, of course.
To get back to the first state (User state) just press the button: “RUN”.
Demo:
It is not at all finished, even the logic are not always perfect.
What one can do at this stage:
- “User state”: your can see the demo and the possibilities.
- Configuration state. Is still VERY much in working state. Try to click on whatever place on the webpage. You get the information about the element clicked at (very handsome when your want to show an effect in the right place). Click one more time to get it to disappear. It stimulatingly show in the 2. (later 3.) table in the interface window.
Try to select several and hoover over them. A nice functionality appears. If your scroll with your mouse, while hoovering over one of the chosen elements, you can ajust the transparency of all the other, more or less quite transparent, elements.
I think this project has potential for all users of the web.
